Nina and Yimar met by chance while they were both vacationing in Hawaii. While sparks flew amidst the tropical orange sunsets, great blue waves, and island lifestyle, they knew they had to go back to their separate homes once the trip was over, which was 3500 kilometres apart from each other.
Nina lives in Los Angeles while Yimar is from Toronto and their long distance relationship was a true test of their love for one another. Fast forward to a few years later, they are now happily engaged and Yimar is headed to LA to start a new career with the love of his life.
The official wedding will be held in Los Angeles but they wanted to celebrate their engagement in Toronto first. The decision to have an engagement party here was a last minute decision, but luckily we were available to be a part of their wonderful celebration. The engagement shoot was done on one of the rare cooler days of this 2016 summer on Centre Island and featured a magnificent sunset the entire time.
