It was a pleasure to ring in the new year at Kailey and Mark’s wedding. We stayed with the wedding party until midnight to celebrate the countdown with the new Mr. and Mrs.
We kicked off 2017 at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Toronto. The luxury hotel was very accommodating of the unique shots we wanted to take within the vibrant architecture of the building. The Four Seasons is the first hotel in Canada to be awarded the Forbes five-star rating, and it certainly deserves that title. The massive windows put impressive Toronto views right in the room with you. Also, the elegance of the hotel really added to the magic of the wedding; the ballroom felt like a castle and yet, so intimate.
The chilly, windy day couldn’t stop the entire party from jumping onto loading dock of the hotel to get some creative shots. The entire venue was bustling with Kailey and Mark’s ecstatic friends and family. Everyone’s smiles were infectious, and it was hard not to laugh along with them as they danced the night away.
Claudia Cole, the wedding planner, did a fantastic job incorporating the festivity of the season into the décor and atmosphere. Everything matched the frosty glow of winter, it felt like the perfect way to welcome a fresh year.
We were touched and excited to take part in the countdown with all the guests. It meant so much that the entire family was there together. Watching everyone hug and kiss was a special moment that just had to be captured.
