Cassandra & Rob’s Wedding

Early in the winter season of last year was Cassandra and Rob’s very intimate wedding. The wedding was held in the wonderfully old-fashioned Distillery District. Following the wedding ceremony, the reception was set up at the Airship 37 space. The reception hall was lit with a warm golden and red lighting that harmonized very well with the Christmas decorations outside and also helped to give a lovely festive atmosphere.

Being very short on time that day, Curio Studios only had 15 minutes for the creative couple photoshoot session. Even with the extremely limited amount of time and the chilly weather outside, we still managed to capture some amazing moments of the newly weds.

Similar to love lock bridges around the world, the Distillery District also had a “Love Installation” which stood 8 feet high and 30 feet long. The installation was made of reclaimed Distillery wood and steel mesh which was crafted into the word LOVE. Cassandra and Rob literally and metaphorically locked in their love that day and threw away the key.
