The engagement period of a couple’s journey is equally as significant as their wedding day because it symbolizes the beginning of their story together. Linda and Marcus’s engagement shoot was one that was casual yet romantic and was shot among urban and rustic Toronto.

The couple’s shared love of food brought the shoot to an artisanal café and to the Distillery District, where they enjoyed the delicacy of fine chocolates. The engagement shoot didn’t just start and end with Linda and Marcus, their adorable white dog (who’s also very much a part of the family), Bobo, wanted to be included as well! Amidst the occasional showers during the day, the couple remained extremely enthusiastic about the shoot and enjoyed themselves immensely. We from Curio wish you all the best in the road ahead!

Clifton Li, Wedding

On a Friday, a beautiful short and sweet wedding was held at the Ajax Town Hall. Curio captured the small yet romantic ceremony where the couple tied the knot surrounded by a lush indoor botanical garden.

The town hall’s open concept design and enormous windows flooded the interior with the warm glow of sunlight giving the ceremony a sense of enchantment. The modern structure’s integration of nature into its space provided our photographer with a great environment to work with and the wedding was complete in under two hours.

On this particular Friday, two people became man and wife and we thank them for selecting us to help capture and commemorate their special day. We from Curio wish them nothing but happiness in their journey together – and much like the happy couple, Curio Studios is also starting on a journey of its own this year.
