Jill and Johnny’s engagement happened during the fall and was set against the warm colours of the leaves. Autumn is a wonderful time for engagement shoots because of the richness in colours and also because the weather is still relatively warm. The couple took advantage of the season’s aesthetic and decided that their shoots should take place in two locations.
They chose to have their first shoot in a lush, overgrown field that showcased the beauty of the autumn palette and chose a rustic farm as their second location – where they wore plaid shirts to compliment the barn setting. Both Jill and Johnny are extremely playful people, which resulted in a really fantastic shoot overall. They made fun of each endlessly (which was hilarious to witness) and it took them almost half the shoot to finally stay still for some poses!
Curio Studios will be accompanying the happy couple to Punta Cana in May to photograph their wedding and we are looking forward to the sand, the clear blue water, and most of all, the party!
